The pool at the world’s tallest hotel is now open to the public in Dubai
Gevora Hotel – the world’s tallest, beating out Sheikh Zayed Road-neighbour JW Marriott Marquis Dubai by a metre – opened this February, and now its pool is open to the public for a refreshing splash as well.
Sitting on the 12th floor of the 75-storey structure, the main pool deck includes a 25m pool, a Jacuzzi and a smaller pool just for the kids. It may not reach the building’s great heights, but it still boasts unbeatable views of the surrounding DIFC neighbourhood – perfect for your next Instagram snap. While the hotel does include a smaller rooftop pool area, that one is open only to staying guests at the moment.
But if you’re keen to scale the building, pool-goers are still in luck: your day pass (AED 150 on weekdays, AED 200 on weekends; 00971-4-524 0000, gevorahotels.com) includes complimentary access to the hotel’s rooftop viewing deck.
